Laptop Tester Reviews | Alienware M18x Laptop Review

We took a close look at the Alienware M18X, our review on this laptop powerhouse is short and sweet, simply because we only needed to test this system once. The M18X is one heck of a laptop for the gaming enthusiast!

The review we are about to make on the new Alienware M18x is based on the hands on usage and technical data we derived from our 7 day test. While most reviews point out the luxury that is Alienware, all the cool bells and whistles, we are looking at it from a different approach. Is it really worth the money?

Our system came dressed with the 1GB NVIDIA® 335M graphics believed to be the most powerful in graphics capabilities stuffed in 15-inch gaming laptop and for the most part this statement is true. The M18X does run some of the highest graphic intense games around with ease at the highest settings possible.

It weighs less than 4.5 lbs and has over seven hours of battery life and with NVIDIA Optimus® graphics switching technology, this system totally rocks, and maintains Alienware's impressive history of being the power horse in gaming laptops. The M18X stands out amongst the rest in the market place for a gaming laptop in this category. It's Impressive design and lighted keyboard makes this one cool to look at system, the lighted base also proves to be the sharpest gaming model I have ever played with.

After looking at it for a while and running through it's own specs, paging through the system and software, I took it for a test drive, using new games and older games. It blew through my Cod4, and older games, and then did the same with the newest graphic intense games we had on hand. The M18X did great and proved to not only look freaking awesome but bang out real high FPS like we would expect. The gaming system is by far my number one gaming system pick. The Alienware M18x is well worth the money, and stands to be the laptop to beat in the gaming market!
