Typically most netbooks run 4 to 5 hours on a full charge, the Asus Eee Seashell goes for six hours. That's almost a full days worth if you use it independently with a charger from time to time.


As with most users, where you take it and if there is a power source, you could most likely stretch that time double. 


This Asus Eee seashell has had many reviews, and all the customer reviews I have read leave this as one heck of a netbook.


You get a netbook that actually gives you some options on memory, unlike the Acer Aspire Netbook series, you can actually upgrade the memory on this Asus Eee. 


You get 2GB DDR3 memory at purchase, with a 1 x SODIMM slot that is expandable to 4GB, making this worth taking a look at.

Although it doesn't come with a optical drive as most netbooks don't, you do however get a pretty good sized hard drive. A 250GB SATA Hard Drive at 5400RPMs is really a good sized one for a netbook.

It also comes in three colors, silver, red and black. So the the Asus Seashell Eee is actually a little cooler than other netbooks, a little more customization is allowed too. It comes with Windows 7 Home Premium, which doesn't really allow for much customization, but works well in a netbook, everything else though makes this a great buy.

A great cooling ventilation system allows for a cooler running netbook, so Asus actually took some thought in the making of this Seashell Eee. It stays cooler than other netbooks we have tested.

We felt after our first test run with the Asus that it might be a step up from more popular selling netbooks in this price range, after all you are getting a few more better features than you would with Acer's Aspire and other Netbook makers, all together this Asus Seashell packs a lot of great items under it's hood. Great quality and sound construction is what you are getting. Asus pays attention to detail, always has, and with this netbook there are no exceptions.

We didn't find anything we didn't like about the Asus Eee Seashell and highly recommend it to anyone who could use a quick and reliable netbook for business or even a little low end gaming. With the Intel Atom 1.8 Ghz D525 dual-core processor and Integrated Intel graphics, you can have a little fun and stay entertained.
